That's how I found Gateway. Being leary of current day scams, I spoke with John and felt very comfortable with him and his ease of answering a million questions for us. I then researched the NC Attorney General Office, The NC Banking Commission & Better Business bureau to find in all the years he has been in business, not one complaint or proceeding had ever been lodged against him. After overcoming this mental barrier, I asked John if he could provide me with references. He immediately sent me at least 20 references from bankers, lawyers, real estate agents and homeowners who had nothing but excellent comments about gateway. We were convinced he was as genuine and on top of his game as we had felt from initially talking to him. So we let him do our work for us. As he works with every major bank and money source in the country, he quickly found a major bank who would handle our needs for the lowest rates, even with a couple of snags on my credit record. He was relentless, always available, and nailed down a great deal for us. All of the paperwork, appraisals and closing details were very smooth. The closing attorney even came to our home to finish all the closing documents. I have and would recommend gateway without hesitation to any friend, relative or person truly seeking a knowledgeable, honest and super nice guy to deal with.
