Adam and Kendra from Barstool Designs were wonderful to work with from start to finish. I was very apprehensive about ordering such expensive barstools online. I was reassured after our first conversation. I greatly appreciated their help in all aspects of my experience with their company...from sending fabric and metal samples off to me right away to their timely help in resolving our problem with two of the seats that were not prepared properly at the manufacturer for attaching the swivels. We love our barstools and they add a special touch to our new patio. Thank you, Barstool Designs!

The pricing, customer service and follow-up of this company is excellent. Stacey and Adam were both great. We had a small issue with delivery wherein one cap on one of the stools was damaged. A replacement part was sent promptly and the fix worked perfectly with very little effort on our part. I would highly recommend this company and the products they represent.

It's tricky to order furniture online without the advantage of seeing the item in 'real life'.
The BarstoolDesign.com website was very accurate and the ordering process was simple. My barstools arrived in perfect condition. They are sturdy and well built though it took some minor assembly to attach the seat to the legs. The directions provided were for the memory seat which mine did not have and I had quite a time figuring out that I didn't need all the screws. I am very happy with my stools and would definitely order from BarstoolDesigns.com again.

I ordered a table and chairs on June 30 and rec'd them on July 11. I wasn't too concerned that it took 11 days to receive them as I knew they were not in stock and had to be shipped from elsewhere and perhaps the custom seat cushions had to be made. The issue that I have arose when the glass tabletop did not arrive with the order. I had to go to the UPS website to determine why (it had been damaged and discarded en route). I emailed BarstoolDesigns customer service on July 13 and they replied (on July 15 - they are closed on the weekend) that they had notified the manufacturer of the situation and that they would notify us of the shipping number of the replacement top as soon as they had it. It is July 19 and I still have not heard from anyone as to the status of the replacement. I emailed on July 18 for an update and suggested that UPS overnight the tabletop as they had damaged the first one. I still have not received a reply.

The table and chairs are very nice and I would give that part of the transaction 5 stars. I can't comment on the tabletop as I have no clue as to its whereabouts. I have to give this part of the order 1 star as I think I should have heard something after a week and that the vendor should have done something to expedite this given the circumstances. Poor communication.

07/23/08: We rec'd an email from BSD customer service almost immediately following our review. They explained why it was taking as long as it had (which we did not know prior to reviewing them) and we were satisfied with the response. The holdup was essentially out of their hands at that point. We did receive the tabletop shortly thereafter. It must have been expedited as it arrived more quickly than we had anticipated. Had I known all of this prior to the review I would have given them 5 stars immediately. As it is I will do so now as they ceratinly provided exceptional customer service rather than just lip service!!!
