Omega Seamaster Automatic

I had been browsing Bernardwatch.com for quite a while with the desire of buying a nice watch for myself.

From the get go a couple of things caught my eye:

The website was laid out well

He carried a vast selection of well known and cult-like following watches.

I saw the watch I was getting along with the price he was asking for it.

I felt no pressure to buy in all my inquiries. I knew if I didn't jump on a deal at that time, that would be okay. He would be able to get me what I wanted.

I am VERY satisfied. Because I was buying something sentimental to myself that I had wanted for a very long time, Bernardwatch.com made it that much better. This is a rare instance in life where every component of the transaction went well.

For the sake of brevity I will end the review here... I can say, however, I appreciate your fair business practice and professionalism.

I have just purchased a Ladies Rolex watch from Bernard Watch Co.for my wife on our 40th wedding anniversary. From my first enquiry about the watch until its arrival at my front door in Australia several days later I received the most professional and couteous service that it has been my pleasure to experience.
The quality and condition of the watch exceeded my expectations and in my opinion Bernard Watch were very modest in their description. Full marks to Bernard Watch Co. they are on the top of my contact list when it comes to quality watches, honesty and exemplary service.

Wie ich an meine Seamaster gekommen bin.

Entdeckt habe ich "Bernard watch" bei chrono24. Mir ist aufgefallen dass die Uhren die von "Bernard watch" angeboten wurden um ein vielfaches billiger waren als die gewöhnlichen europäischen Angebote. Ich interessierte mich für eine Omega Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean Chronograph. In Deutschland bzw. die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung von Omega für diese Uhr liegt bei 4300 Euro (bei Maurer in Bochum liegt die Uhr für 4300 Euro im Fenster). Ich gebe zu man kann diese Uhr auch etwas billiger bekommen. Allerdings den Preis den "Bernard watch" für diese Uhr macht ist absolut sensationell. Den Dollar in Euro umgerechnet kostete diese Uhr inklusive FedEx ca. 2300 Euro allerdings kam ein kleiner Wehrmutstropfen hinzu. Ich musste noch ca. 400 Euro Einfuhr bzw. Umsatzsteuer bezahlen (damit hatte ich allerdings gerechnet). Aber egal der Preis von 2700 Euro war um ein vielfaches billiger als der günstigste Preis den ich bis dato entdeckt hatte.
Noch einmal zurück zum Anfang.
Uhr entdeckt, aber wie die Uhr aus den USA nach Good Old Germany bekommen. Außerdem hatte ich auch zuerst große Bedenken die Summe aus Deutschland irgendwohin in die Wüste nach Texas zu überweisen. Also recherchierte ich im Internet, ob sich etwas über "Bernard watch" herausfinden könnte (schlechte Kritiken o.ä.).
Aber etwas Schlechtes gab es nicht zu finden ganz im Gegenteil nur Positives.
Also bin ich mit "Bernard watch" (P.J. Ingenito) in Kontakt getreten.
Ob die Uhr schon verkauft ist, wie hoch der Gesamtpreis ist (aus den USA nach Deutschland), u.s.w.. Ich bekam innerhalb von 15 min eine Antwort (aufgrund der Zeitzone muss man zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 23:00 Uhr MEZ mit Bernard watch korrespondieren).
Die Uhr ist noch zu verkaufen und wird auch für mich zurückgehalten. Danach die Kontodaten von "Bernard watch" ("Bernard watch" akzeptiert nur Vorausüberweisung; genauer auf der Webseite von "Bernard watch" erklärt).
Danach bin ich mit mir ins Gericht gegangen: sollst du wirklich die 2300 Euro überweisen. Noch zweimal darüber geschlafen dann bin ich am Dienstag zur Bank gegangen.
Allerdings wollte die Bankangestellte mir die Überweisung noch ausreden: sind Sie wirklich sicher ... bla, bla, bla, nachher ist das Geld weg u.s.w.. Ich bekam wieder Zweifel; aber egal, ich überwies das Geld.
Ab jetzt ging es ziemlich schnell. Dienstag Geld überwiesen. Donnerstag morgen ist das Geld auf dem Konto von "Bernard watch" eingegangen (Email über Eingang von "Bernard watch" sofort erhalten). 5 Stunden nach Geldeingang wurde das Paket (Uhr inkl. Versicherung) an FedEx übergeben. Das Paket ist dann Samstag morgen um 3:16 Uhr in Frankfurt eingetroffen (Ich habe die Sendung mit der Luftfrachtnummer auf der Webseite von FedEx verfolgt). Leider lag dann die Uhr aufgrund des Wochenendes 2 Tage in Frankfurt bei FedEx. Jedoch wurde mir das Paket sofort Montag morgen um 10:12 Uhr von FedEx zugestellt.
Wäre das Wochenende nicht dazwischen gefallen, so wäre die Uhr nach 48 Stunden bei mir eingetroffen (mein Tipp: Geld Montag überweisen dann hat man die Uhr Freitag).
Nun zur Uhr. Die Omega hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Eine super Uhr. Die Uhr kam in der obligatorischen roten Lederbox von Omega mit allem was dazugehört. Absolut tadelloser Zustand. Die Uhr funkelte nur so vor sich hin, brutal schwer (1/2 Jahr und ich habe einen Arm wie Arny) und ein super Ding. Alles funktioniert tadellos, Stoppuhr, 30 min Anzeige, Datumsanzeige. Der Boden der Uhr ist ebenfalls edel gearbeitet rundum eine gelungene Uhr.
Fazit: Ein wirklich gutes Geschäft; nicht preiswert sondern billig. Ein Lob an "Bernard watch" bzw. P.J. Ingenito.
Für mich die Note 1+ besser kann man ein Geschäft nicht machen. Ich bin wirklich zufrieden es grenzt schon eher an Begeisterung.

After being defrauded of a considerable amount of money on eBay for a watch that more than likely did not exist, I was hesitant to try purchasing another watch on the internet.

I found a watch that I was interested in, this time with Bernard Watch, and made initial contact. P.J. was very open and honest about their store. No pressure tactics, just helpful pointers for me to follow up on my own about their reputation and reliability. This helped tremendously to feel comfortable with the deal and that this time I was dealing with an established and reputable company.

The quality (and, more importantly, their description) of the watches is superb; the prices are market rate and honest; BUT the cutomer service, care, and personalized service (from product description, to shipping, tracking, delivery and follow-up) are first rate.

This type of service and attention is not found every day, but seems to be par for the course for P.J. He / Bernard Watch truly care about the customer being satisfied and happy with the purchase and the shopping experience.

I am truly glad to have found Bernard Watch and hope to be a repeat customer. They truly are an outstanding company and deserve recognition for the quality of the inventory and the service they provide.
