We are just back home after a wonderful stay in the Madrono apartment. We found the 2 bedroom apartment to be excellent throughout. We would rate it as being the best equipped and maintained we have ever stayed in and we hope to return. We have a lively 5 year old girl who had plenty to keep her busy,[and us!] The main pool very child friendly and 3 playgrounds close-by. All in all we had a marvellous time.

I had searched extensively on google to find a quality apartment for our 2009 family holiday and eventually found www.elpresidente.biz which is a site offering apartments to let in a beautiful complex near Marbella in Spain. I emailed Peter and he emailed me promptly back with rates and terms of payments.
Having viewed the site many times i decided to take a chance and book it !
I wasn't disappointed. The complex it-self is " Heavan Like" with manicured gardens, gorgeous shrubs ,fountains and it is magnificently well kept.
The apartment is exactly as portrayed on his website and is indeed equivalent to a 5 star hotel. It has everything ! Air con, dishwasher, washing machine, english TV channels, Oven, Hob, 2 bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms with shower and bath ! . It is indeed exceptional and Peter is a thorough gentleman to deal with and because he lives just across the way in another apartment it is fair to say that he knows the area well !
He got me a great deal on car hire ( I would recommend this )and he is very informative. The complex has 5 magnificent swimming pools and indeed we had nearly exclusive use of ours for the 2 weeks.
The area has plenty of bars and restaurants but i would recommend a car as you can explore Estepona, Porto Banus, Benahavis and indeed Marbella as all of these are only 10 minutes drive away and all 4 locations are gorgeous.
Gibraltar with all its beauty is a mere 40 minutes drive and well worth a visit.
As i said , get away from the typical, horrible, noisy holiday locations and book this and explore this lovely country and when you are not exploring simply lie back and enjoy your pool and sun lounger in El Presidente and you're 5 Star apartment (via Peter).
I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday for 1. The Kent Apartment 2. The location 3 The Weather 4. The peace and quiet when i wanted it.
Just book it ! Its 5 Star !!!!!!!!!!!!

We returned from El Presidente 11 July having stayed in Paloma 3 bedroomed apartment for 2 weeks. I could not praise the accommodation and surroundings highly enough. The apartment itself has everything required, home from home really, extremely spacious and very clean. The complex itself is spectaculour, and kept to an exceptionally high standard. The peace and quiet very surprising in a complex of this size and access to the beach and chiringuitos excellent. I will certainly return!!

My husband and I and our four and two year old sons stayed in the madrona apartment in June. We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment is like home from home, with everything you could possibly wish for. We found Peter and Sylvia so charming and helpful. The main pool is perfect for small children and there was no fighting for the sunbeds like there are in some places. We will definetly be coming back again!

The Kent apartment was very spacious, well-equiped, bright and located beside a lovely swimming pool. The apartment and the complex generally are child friendly which was an essential requirement for us. Peter and Sylvia were at all times great to deal with and very helpful. Given the location of El Presidente, having a car is pretty essential and Peter kindly organised this for us. We had a wonderful 3 week holiday and will definitely return.

Very impressed with the apartment,very clean, spacious and nicely furnished. We all loved the fact that we could walk straight to the many lovely pools, I can honestly say that El President is definitely one of the better urbanisations in Marbella.(I have been to lots) The lay out is great, location was fantastic, 5 minute walk to the beach and only a short drive to the world famous Peurto Banus. None of us wanted to leave and can't wait to our next trip out. Thumbs up to Peter and Sylvia they couldn't be more helpful. Book now you won't regret it.

Had a week at the end of May 2009 with my daughters. Could not have been better located, a beautiful apartment, brilliantly kitted out, quiet, very pretty inside and outside. Peter & Sylvia very informative, lovely people. The pool could not have been closer (more pools on site) but our one was probably the quietest due to deeper water so not so child-friendly, but for us that was perfect, it was also incredibly clean. Very secure, lovely gardens all over, easy parking. Quick access to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona & Airport. Excellent supermarket, restaurants everywhere. Would definately go back.
