I have been using AptHost for over a year now and have had nothing but problems with them. I have had multiple extended downtimes. I have been unable to reach support for days at a time and their online chat support is totally useless as they have never been able to help me and only tell me to open a ticket which takes days to get resolved. From looking at all the positive reviews here it seems to me that those reviews where most likely made by their staff as this was not even close to my experience with this company.

I have been using Apthost for 2 years now and have had little to no problems. I have a reseller account with them with ample bandwidth and disk space. Over the years my web sites have only been down 2 times and for less than an hour. I am very pleased with their response time and handling of my service requests. Only comment I have is regarding SSL certificates. They tend to be painful to setup, but aside from that they are a good provider

AptHost has actually been really good to me over the past couple months that I've been with them. I think they had some internal issues but It didn't affect my website and everytime I've contacted them I never had any issues reaching them. One time my site was down but I went on live chat and guy named James was able to get it back online for me in a few minutes. Overall I think they're great and I've already recommended them to some of my friends who also have sites.

I have been trying to locate Vision HelpDesk and ClientExec downloads that come as part of my VPS server package. I searched the knowledgebase and the only reference I find to any of those is a link for requesting a ClientExec License. No mention of downloads.

The links provided in their email do not work and are broken.
The link I did find in the knowledgebase for ClientExec license was also broken and did not work.

I submitted a support ticket to get the information needed and the download location for these two items that should have been contained in the signup email since they are part of the vps package.

The response I got back from support was the links are located in the knowledgebase, look there and contact billing for the licenses.

I once again went back to the knowledgebase and wasted time looking for links that just can't seem to be found or working because they are broken just like I reported in the earlier support request.

I am sorry, but if their site is borken, links are down and so on.
This is a support issue and not a billing issue.

I also should not have to submit multiple tickets for the same issue because tech support is too quick to brush a ticket off. Read the whole ticket and look into what the customer is saying. There may actually be some truth in their.

Lets get the links to the software I paid for under the vps purchase and fix the links to the license request forms so I can get the licenses needed.

At this point the sale and delivery of goods and services purchased is not complete and support is very lacking.

UPDATE:
I finally got the links for the software needed to use on the vps server. My ticket for the email links was closed and ignored. They never even had the courtesy to send me an email as far as a ticket status update.

UPDATE 2:
Well, the download links I was sent do not even work. There site is useless. The only function they seem to have made sure works before they went live with the new site, is the payment and order functions.

So now I had to submit a 3rd support ticket since they did not verify the accuracy of the information they provided to me.

Not only that, all the downloads on the link they sent me were broken. None of them worked. not a one.

I think it is time to cut my losses with them after almost a year of dealing with this and do a chargeback through my credit card provider and PayPal.
