This was the trip of a life time for my Dad and I. Landscapes of staggering beauty, excitement of the Iditarod, hands-on experience with the dogs, and interaction with the mushers at the checkpoint all added up to a wonderfully rich experience. Going on this trip was truely amazing! From seeing and photographing the Iditarod to going to the villages and meeting the people. It was an experience that has touched me and I will never forget. Richard arranged a wonderful trip and ensured that things were great (even with some glitches :). Looking forward to getting to Nome and that burled arch.
