Permit Puller is definitely the way to go. They were able to get us a permit around the holidays 2 days before the move, in a locality where permits normally need to be acquired at least 4 days in advance. The permits are conveniently sent directly to our e-mail account for us to keep on file. They're friendly, they have reasonable rates, and best of all, they take all the hassle out of standing in line at City Hall and then driving around the city to place the signs. Highly recommended.

I am from New York, with my son moving into a student apartment in Boston; Permit Puller saved me valuable time, money and aggravation. Boston requires insurance, posted signs and lots of little fees that add up to lots of dollars. Permit Puller arranged all of it, posted signs and saved me from a number of fees. Moving in was painless as far as permits - can they do anything about hauling furniture up to a fourth-floor apartment with no elevator?

Permit Puller was a lifesaver. Even though we were moving my daughters into an apartment August 1st, not September 1st when an additional 250,000 students descend on Boston, the apartment was in the path of Duck Tours and lots of weekend traffic (we did the move on a Saturday.) When we got to our location, Permit Puller had done its job. We were very happy with the service.

I moved to Brookline from halfway across the country. From what I remembered when I was here apartment hunting, there was no need for a permit - my building had a driveway that the truck could use. When I arrived in town the evening before my movers were supposed to deliver my things I found that there wasn't room in the driveway for a truck and I would need a permit. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough time to get the permit - but Permit Puller managed to get the permit up a few hours after I submitted my request online. They're amazing!

I went to sleep that night having nightmares of the moving company blocking traffic for hours. I woke up at 630 am and walked down to the street. I was amazed. 3 parking spots blocked off, permits taped to the meters. They did it. Coudn't believe. These guys are good.
