My name is Emily, and Memories to DVD recently completed a project for me and my family that is bringing inexpressible joy. At my recent surprise birthday party, my three grown sons and their wives, I and my husband, and a dear friend who was there almost from the beginning of the raising of these “boys” watched the first 4 hours of what turned out to be 14 hours of the over 2 miles of 8mm film my former husband took of the babies and little boys from 1962 to 1976. The film was found among the belongings of the father after his sudden death in 2003 and had passed from one son’s storage unit to the next. Finally I was asked to store it in our unit, and then I discovered Memories to DVD. The film was cleaned and converted to DVDs by the experts at Memories to DVD and preserved in perfect form for us to enjoy again and again. Although the father, my youngest son, Granny and Granddaddy are gone from our lives, we have them in beautiful, moving pictures. And it was such fun to hear the excitement of recollections stirred from the one son old enough to remember (while the one who was only 3 at the time struggled to remember) some quaint scene on a Japanese street when their doctor father was serving during Viet Nam. The people at Memories not only do the most professional work, but they took a caring interest in our story and were dedicated to completing my project exactly as I wanted it. I am very grateful to them.

I had several reel-to-reel audiotapes of family get-togethers that I could no longer play. Steve did a wonderful job of editing these rather lengthy tapes and putting them on CDs so I can once again enjoy hearing our family time together. They are a first rate company with first rate customer service. Excellent value for the product and needless to say - the memories are priceless. If you want a film or video job done right you have found the best. Don't be discouraged by the price you are quoted and go somewhere like Wal-Mart. It is not much more than you would pay else where and you will get what you desire. It's the old addage you get what you pay for!

The team at Memories to DVD did a great job with the home movies my dad made from the 50's through the 80's. The completed project brought members of my family back together for a time of reflection and reconsideration of our memories of the past. I will treasure this tribute to my family for the rest of my life. Memories to DVD gave me individualized attention and understood the emotional and personal nature of my project.

I would personally like to thank Memories to DVD for the outstanding job they did for me. My father is still missing in Vietnam, last October marked the 40th year. Last October I also got to hear my fathers voice for the first time in since I was 5. I stopped at a booth they had at the Southern Women's show in Nashville and inquired if they could take the audio off of 40 year old reel to reel tapes, which my mom and dad sent back and forth. He said sure, but since they were that old and not taken care of (stored in the attic) some may be too brittle. They got the sound and voices off of all 9. Several were recorded at different speeds, and they took the time to go inch by inch and digitally restore the voices.Some of the tapes fell apart as they came through the machine, but all were safely transferred to CD's, so now I can pass my Fathers Words down to my children. What a gift. Thanks so much
