I am taking the time to write this review because of the remarkable experience I had with Empire Gold Buyers. Last year I sold jewelry to another company and although they weren't horrible, now that I've done business with EGB I realize just how mediocre the other company is. When I first contacted EGB, Ari returned my call right away. For me, there is an emotional component to selling my pieces. He was patient as he explained their procedure. He was straighforward, clear and knowledgeable. At EGB they appraise the precious metals and the stones separately. Unlike the other company, at EGB, once they appraised the jewelry they called to let me know the EXACT dollar value. Even though I'm not an expert, I'm not totally ingnorant on the subject and I found their appraisal was more than fair. They emailed a Fed Ex label and I scheduled the pick up at my office, at my convenience. Everything was "up front." They gave me a choice of payment methods. I chose a company check. It was all done in 4 days.
At EGB they are honest. There was nothing weird or shady; no hidden policies or costs. They know their business and they know how to run it. I am grateful that I chose EGB and I will defnitely recommend them.

Empire Gold Buyers made my experience easy. The website was easy to understand and easy to find report from BBB. After checking them out on BBB site I talked with EGB another time. After the 2nd talk, EGB sent me a FEDEX sticker to send my gold out to them for FREE. It was that easy. I found the 2 gentlemen kind and easy to talk with. I got a call regarding the price, agreed and 2 days later had a check in the mail. Cashed it with no problems and feel satisfied. I am sure they gave me a fair price. I will use this company again in the future and will tells others about them.
