This site was recommeded to me by Home Depot. The replacement drums were stamped metal so they will outlast the rest of the blind. They were economical, and delivery was within five days. The only complaint that I had was that the new drums were not exact replacements for the one's that broke (they lacked a bearing protrusion which allows the drum rod to rest and rotate in the drum carriers), but I was able to work around that by obtaining some nylon bushings from Home Depot. It was a relatively easy work-around, and I would definately order from FixMyBlinds.com again! Less

The step-by-step video along with printed instructions made this task I'd put off for over a year SIMPLE! The string, needle, and replacement cord lock arrived in days. I have string to spare should my other shades break a string. And, I won't wait a year to do it.
