I really like the new layout of our online school. It's easier to operate and keep track of all work that needs to be completed. Although i think that it would be a little easier if the assignments that we have already completed would be highlighted or marked to show that it is completed. Great job on the site!

Now that we have explored the site and gotten some guidance from one of teachers, we are good to go. Trace seems to be well-focused and making much greater progress than he did in public school - where he had to wait for the class to catch up and easily became bored. After three active weeks, we are happy that we made this decision. Instructors have answered every email within 12 hours, which I thought was amazing, especially over New Year's weekend. I didn't expect them to be working at all! I think this is a good schooling option for my son. I would tell other parents that they cannot just trust the child will know how to follow along by themselves. I sit down every week and look at what my son has coming up in school. I write a plan of what pages he will cover and what assignments he will do on what days. I have him do the odd numbered problems in the math book because the odd numbered answers are found in the back, just like any other textbook (he doesn't know that but I do and it helps me sometimes). With me writing out a schedule for him, he is getting all of the information and I am better able to help him when he gets stuck because I have familiarized myself with the material. It is not a hands-off program for the parents. It really does make homeschooling easier because the curriculum is done, the recordkeeping is done, the teachers are available for back-up, and it is affordably priced. I like it a lot. My son does, too. I recommend it to others but, again, the parent still has to be dedicated to helping the student get through it. Less
