The market for RatePoint is 5x the size of SSL certificates. The margins for RatePoint are comparable to SSL and at least double that of domains. |

How do I become a reseller?
Becoming a RatePoint reseller is easy. Simply contact one of our account representatives at 1.888.777.1636, or visit us on the web at ratepoint.com/resellers and fill out the online sign-up form. Typically within 1 business day we can have you set up as a RatePoint partner. |

How does the API work?
Integrating the RatePoint Consumer Approval Program into your current hosting packages is easy with our API integration capabilities. Deployment of our platform and badge to your customer is as easy as uploading a file and adding a slice of javascript to a customer website. |

Do I have to implement the API?
No, you don't have to use the API. You can join as an Affiliate Partner and refer customers directly to RatePoint. The affiliate program is commission based and is based off of direct referrals to RatePoint from partners that may not have the time or resources for full deployment of a reseller partnership. |

How does the Affiliate Program work?
The affiliate program is commission based and is based off of direct referrals to RatePoint from partners that may not have the time or resources for full deployment of a reseller partnership. After signing up as an affiliate partner, you place a link to our site from yours. The links contain a special tracking code and when your customers click on those links and purchase through us, you earn a commission on every membership purchased. While the Affiliate Program is the easiest way to resell RatePoint, consider becoming an Authorized Reseller and use the API -- you'll be able to set the price for your customers, gain higher margins and keep customers on your site. |

What are payment options?
RatePoint currently offers two payment plans:
Pay As You Go: With this option, you can sell the RatePoint Consumer Approval Program to your customers with no upfront costs. You pay for each program as it is issued. All payments are made by credit card that is charged after each order.
Bulk Purchase: Purchase Bulk numbers of seals from 10-100,000 in advance. Under this payment option, we are able to provide our partners with greater discounts. As a reseller, you pay for RatePoint memberships up front, but receive a more generous discount for the up front investment |

What does the reseller portal provide?
The Reseller Portal allows you to purchase additional memberships, manage your customers, add a unique sign-up URL to your e-mail and newsletter communications, and access marketing material to help your business succeed. |

What should I charge my customers for the RatePoint service?
Partners can decide on the best price to offer RatePoint to their customers. They can then sell the program at their cost, passing along this discount to customers, or at a higher cost, receiving the difference in profit. |

What will RatePoint do to promote the service?
RatePoint promotes the service in a variety of ways -- through online media such as traditional banner ads, through services such as Google and Yahoo, through direct and e-mail promotions, and even media such as radio and television. In addition, RatePoint's public relations team is always working with media outlets to spread the word about the service and regularly receives coverage in local and national media. |

What marketing and sales tools are available to help me sell RatePoint?
Your success is our success, and RatePoint provides a host of marketing and sales materials to help Resellers push the RatePoint service out to customers. Materials include suggested copy to include in outbound communications such as e-mails and newsletters, website banners, and press release templates and distribution services. Most of these tools are available directly through the Reseller portal. The best way to market RatePoint of course is to include it in your hosting packages through our API. |

Once I sell RatePoint to a customer, what am I expected to do?
Once you sell RatePoint to a customer, you are expected to help that customer deploy the membership as part of their service with you. In addition, as a reseller you are expected to follow up with that customer to renew their membership. |
