RatePoint Enhancements Drive Increased Credibility for SMBs Managing their Online Reputation

New design template and feedback awards tools provide seamless reputation management

Enhancements include nearly 50 new email templates and an extensive redesigned of the business profile pages featuring a five star awards system.

RatePoint customers now have access to a streamlined email template selector that includes nearly 50 new designs in twelve categories with new templates scheduled to be added every week. The new template themes offer a wide selection ranging from beauty and spa, health, business, home improvement and promotional, including a focus on the upcoming holiday season for companies to communicate special news and offers to their customers in tune with the seasons.

Email marketing remains a strong catalyst for managing business reputation and customer feedback.  In fact, on Cyber Monday, one in five emails sent via RatePoint were related to Cyber Monday deals and specials. With many email templates to choose from, businesses can continue these seasonal communications to incentivize customers and create relationships. In a pre-holiday RatePoint customer survey, small businesses indicated they would utilize a combination of proactive customer contact measures this holiday shopping season including email-marketing campaigns and customer-reviews promotions to help increase consumer trust at a time when they are financially choosy with where to spend a limited budget.

Several new features have been added to RatePoint’s business profile pages, as well. RatePoint added a five star award system where businesses can receive up to four awards on their profile pages:

  • Consumer Approved: Maintains an average score of 4.0 or higher.
  • Business Excellence: Maintains an average score of 4.5 or higher.
  • Proactive Business: Collected 25 or more reviews in the past three months.
  • Customer Service Award: 90 percent or more of negative reviews resolved.

Accessible through the RatePoint site seals, testimonial pages and review spotlight widgets, RatePoint’s profile pages now feature dynamic navigation so businesses can focus on the services they are leveraging within the system in real time. Profile pages can display a company’s average review score, total number of reviews received and how well the business handles negative feedback.

The award additions also educate consumers by providing the business requirements of being a RatePoint member, which provides credibility to the small business and their brand.
